Beta Terms
These Beta Terms ("Terms") govern your use of Jr. Studio ("Jr.," "we," or "us"). By accepting in the app, you confirm that you have read these Terms and the Privacy Notice.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Jr. for a household, organization, or another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so and remain responsible for that use.
Jr. is not directed to children. A minor may use it only in a household setting under the active supervision and responsibility of the adult account holder.
2. Invite-only evaluation
Jr. is an invite-only, prerelease evaluation. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Beta on supported devices for evaluation and feedback.
You may not redistribute the installer, publish an invitation or private release location, sell or sublicense access, or make the Beta available to anyone outside your invited household or approved evaluation group. Publicly readable update files do not make the Beta a public program or grant a license to redistribute it. “Private” and “invite-only” describe the participation and license policy, not a technical access control over the download or update artifacts.
3. Beta conditions
The Beta is unfinished and may contain defects, lose compatibility, change without notice, or stop working. Back up important projects and exports. We may change, suspend, expire, or end the Beta or your access at any time, including for safety, legal, provider, or operational reasons.
Do not rely on the Beta for emergencies, safety-critical activity, production systems, or irreplaceable work.
4. Your providers and charges
AI features use the official Claude Code or Codex CLI under an account or API key you control. You are responsible for:
- keeping that account authorized and secure;
- following the provider's terms, policies, age requirements, and organization administrator rules;
- deciding what prompts and project files may be sent to the provider; and
- all subscription usage, API charges, taxes, limits, suspensions, and other consequences on that provider account.
Jr.'s daily run limit counts runs; it is not a token, price, or spending cap. A provider may change its plans, CLI, pricing, or eligibility independently of Jr. We do not promise that a provider subscription permits every use or will remain compatible with the Beta.
5. Generated output and project content
AI output can be inaccurate, insecure, offensive, incomplete, or similar to other output. It is not pre-reviewed by Jr. You must inspect and test generated files before using, sharing, or relying on them. Do not treat output as legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice.
As between you and us, you retain your rights in project content you provide and your exports, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, provider terms, and the licenses of starter or third-party materials. You give Jr. permission to process that content locally and through the provider you select only as needed to perform your requests and operate the Beta.
You are responsible for ensuring that your prompts, images, projects, and uses do not violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or another person's rights.
6. Safe and acceptable use
You may not use the Beta to harm people, interfere with systems, bypass Jr.'s or a provider's safeguards, gain unauthorized access, distribute malware, or create or share unlawful content. Do not attempt to extract provider credentials or use Jr. to evade a provider or organization administrator restriction.
Do not represent that Jr. guarantees a project is safe. The controls and their limits are described on the Safety page. You remain responsible for supervision, local account security, backups, and deciding whether to use generated output.
7. Jr. materials
Jr., its user interface, bundled software, branding, and starter materials are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited Beta license above, these Terms do not transfer those rights. Third-party components remain governed by their notices and licenses.
Feedback is voluntary. You allow us to use feedback without restriction or payment, but this does not give us ownership of project content included in a support message.
8. Privacy
The Privacy Notice explains local storage, provider processing, update and catalog requests, support messages, and the optional user-reviewed beta report. Jr. has no Jr. accounts, background analytics, automatic crash reporting, cloud sync, or Jr.-hosted project upload in this Beta.
9. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Beta and all output are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or security. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or warranty that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
10. Liability
These Terms do not set a special contractual liability cap for the invite-only private Beta. Any responsibility or liability is determined by applicable law, and nothing in these Terms limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
11. Ending these Terms
You may stop using the Beta at any time. Your license ends when these Terms or the Beta ends, and you must stop using and redistributing the software. Sections that by their nature should survive continue to apply, including ownership, provider responsibility, warranty, liability, and dispute provisions.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms do not select a governing law, venue, arbitration forum, or special dispute process for the invite-only private Beta. Applicable law determines those matters, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
13. Changes and contact
We may update the Terms for a later Beta. When the Terms version changes, Jr. requires you to review and accept the new edition before provider connection or project mutation.
